Utah Sport Bike Association - UtahSBA

The Utah Sport Bike Association began in the 1980's as the sport bike movement was in its infancy. Some of our founding members were Mitch Boehm (current Editor of Motorcyclist Magazine ) and Nick Ienatsch (author of The Pace, Sport Riding Techniques and chief instructor of the Freddy Spencer High Performance Riding School ). The UtahSBA is very proud of our heritage and all our other founding members such as Joey Veater, Marvin Jensen and Gene Prunty, just to name a few.

With no racetrack until 2006, the UtahSBA has grown into a well-rounded, not-for-profit, sport motorcycle organization that welcomes all sport riders from every sect of the sport riding world, be it super-moto's, stunting, sport-touring, canyoning, racing or just good old fashioned sport riding.

Our mission is to promote safety, education and performance of all sport-riders in the state of Utah through partnerships, training courses, mentoring and providing positive motorcycling role models for riders.

The Utah Sport Bike Association has been around for almost 30 years and we are very proud of the organization that we've been able to develop in that time. We are unique to the country. We know of no other organization like us, that is a volunteer based, not-for-profit organization that strives to provide the level of riding education and track access that we do.

Everyone benefits from an educated and cohesive motorcycle community, and we strive towards this with our mission to provide safety, education and performance of all sport-riders in the state of Utah through partnerships, training courses, mentoring and providing positive motorcycling role models for riders.

Safety | Education | Performance | Racing

You may have noticed that we have four tiers to our club. Four focus points that guide our goals as a club.

BY LAWS

Have you ever wondered what governs the direction of the club? There are actually a set of bylaws that details our procedures and our policies, and we encourage all of our members and all of our potential new members to read through them. Not only do we want the accountability, but we want you to be informed about your club.
